Orisson School of Entrepreneurship and Technology
Introduction
This course is one of the major courses for Mechanical Engineering Department in our Training School. Centrifugal Pumps, Compressors and Turbines are a group of Mechanical equipment that transfers energy between a rotor and a fluid. Process plants in Upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas, including manufacturing industries rely on Pumps and compressors for transfer of liquids and gases. Turbines is required to generate power from fuel gas. This course will give the trainees a deep insight into the functional description, industry applications and Component parts that make up centrifugal pumps, compressors and turbines. Practical work exercise and quizzes will be done based on real project cases
