Introduction
This course is one of the 5 courses in the Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship Program (FEP). It combines e-learning with guided practical classes and exercises. The course will enable you to better understand Project management best practices. You will also develop MS Project software skills which you can combine with this Project management knowledge to deliver projects in any sector.
Learning Objectives
- Learn to apply MSP skills and Project management knowledge referenced from PM BOK for Project Scope, Cost, schedule, Resource and Communications management as it applies generally to projects across all industries.
- Learn Schedule development. In the practical stage of the training, you will learn to use project schedules that has been prepared with Microsoft Project to manage project execution, Project monitoring and reporting.
Delivery Methods and Training Timetable
This course is delivered both online and live. We recommend it to be taken in conjunction with 2 or 3 other elective courses in the FEP course list of 5 courses. The duration for this course is 3 days. Module 1 and 2 runs for a day and half. Half day of day 2 and full day of day 3 is used for practical Microsoft Project software training. The FEP live training is followed by a 3-week micro internship applicable for those who paid tuition or signed training bond.
Course Target Audience
This course is designed for Fresh graduates from any discipline, entry level staff, new intakes into companies and those that work in any organization with responsibilities in Project planning and execution. Experienced professionals such as Project Managers, Project Leads and supervisors also take it to up-skill.
Tuition Fees & Payment:
Tuition Fees is $100 (#150,000), for the full training package spanning the 3-day duration. MSP Software practical training in addition to micro internship and other benefits offered by Orisson SET. The paid version comes with a certificate of merit. Training bond is available. Call or mail the training school admin for more information.
The free version of this training is available for people in our open mentoring program. The duration is only for the first 2 days and is limited to online scope. MSP Software training is excluded. You get testimonial but not a certificate.

The paid course lasts for 3 days and includes practical MSP software training and optional Micro internship.
You also get a Certificate of Merit upon completion of the paid course.
You can also choose to pay ahead of the monthly training schedule if you so prefer
Schedule: We run 12 batches of this training every year, recurring Monday - Wednesday of every first week of the month, while 2 other FEP courses run Thursdays to Sunday of the first week of every month.
Course Structure
- The 3 day duration for trainees that paid for this course includes the time for your Exercises / Assignment and MSP Software training.
- Each day of the training is commences with a 30minute onboarding in the morning anchored by the training school administrator, while the Summary class of 1 hour is held in the evening of each day.
- Having a laptop with the software loaded is a mandatory requirement for anyone taking the practical scope of the course. The 2010 version of MSP Software can be installed free for you by day 2. This version is free and suitable for the training. However if you can afford it, you are free to buy the licensed latest version of MSP Software.
- Those that are taking the free version will have access to only the theoretical pare for day 1 and half day of day 2.
- Training Videos will be included in the course module with the link to access and view later at your own time.
- Class Exercise is partly aimed at testing the strength of knowledge you gained from the topics
- All trainees participate remotely by connecting to the live classroom learning via google meets and a slack channel set up for the training. The link of the slack channel will be shared to participants that paid.
- Participants on free training mode will get only the pdf files and google meets link for summary classes.
